I recently had the pleasure of staying at a lovely hotel that truly made my trip to Savannah memorable. The rooms were spacious and beautifully appointed, adding a nice touch to my stay. The concierge team was incredibly helpful in providing local tips, which made exploring the area much easier. However, I found the breakfast offerings to be quite bland and the wait times at the takeaway spot were frustratingly long. Overall, I think the hotel has great potential but can improve in a few areas, especially dining.
I recently stayed at the DeSoto during a visit to Savannah, and while there were some hiccups, overall, it was a lovely experience. The location is unbeatable, making it easy to explore the city, and the staff was genuinely nice and accommodating. However, I did have issues with valet service and room cleanliness that slightly clouded my trip. Despite these downsides, I appreciated the amenities the hotel had to offer.
